Today, during a working visit to the Karmakshy District, Murat Ergeshbayev, Akim of the region, and Murat Tleumbetov, Chairman of the regional maslikhat, met with residents of the village of Torebai Bi and inspected the progress of gas pipeline construction.
Pipeline and internal distribution network installations are currently underway. 479.5 million tenge have been allocated for the project, implemented by the partnerships Asia Story KZ and Grand Structure Engineering.
Gas delivery to villages is being carried out in accordance with the General Gasification Plan of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2023-2030 and the Detailed Gasification Plan of the Kyzylorda Region for 2023-2027.
Last year, the region's gasification rate reached 83 percent. To date, four cities and 56 settlements have been connected to natural gas.
This year, 4.9 billion tenge has been allocated for the implementation of 14 projects. Of these, two are transitional projects, 12 are new projects, and residents of 10 settlements will gain access to natural gas. This brings the number of gasified settlements to 66, and gas coverage to 85 percent.
To further expand gasification, nine projects totaling 15 billion tenge have been developed and submitted for funding. After receiving support, it is planned to connect an additional 11 villages to natural gas.
Furthermore, the investment program of QazaqGaz Aimaq JSC for 2026-2030 includes the gasification of six settlements in the Zhanakorgan district.
