Today, Regional Akim Murat Ergeshbayev and Chairman of the Regional Maslikhat Murat Tleumbetov met with residents of Torebay Bi Village during their working visit to Karmakshy District and reviewed the progress of the gas infrastructure project.

Construction work is currently underway on the gas pipeline and internal distribution networks. A total of 479.5 million tenge has been allocated for the project, which is being implemented by Asia Story KZ and Grand Structure Engineering.

The provision of natural gas to rural settlements is being carried out in accordance with the 2023–2030 General Gasification Scheme of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the 2023–2027 Detailed Gasification Plan of the Kyzylorda Region.

According to last year's results, the region's gasification rate reached 83 percent. At present, 4 cities and 56 settlements are connected to the natural gas network.

This year, 4.9 billion tenge has been allocated for the implementation of 14 projects. Of these, 2 are ongoing projects and 12 are new initiatives. As a result, residents of 10 additional settlements will gain access to natural gas. This will increase the number of gasified settlements to 66 and raise the regional gasification rate to 85 percent.

To continue expanding gas infrastructure, nine additional projects worth a total of 15 billion tenge have been prepared and submitted for funding. Once approved, an additional 11 villages are expected to be connected to natural gas.

In addition, the investment program of QazaqGaz Aimaq for 2026–2030 includes plans to provide natural gas to six settlements in the Zhanakorgan District.
