Medical workers in the Samara region were congratulated on their professional holiday

A gala event dedicated to Medical Worker's Day was held at the Samara District Community Center.
On this day, words of gratitude and appreciation were addressed to the doctors, nurses, paramedics, and all healthcare workers who daily care for the health of the district's residents. The best representatives of the industry were awarded medals, Certificates of Honor, and Letters of Appreciation for their many years of dedicated work and contribution to the development of healthcare.
Today, the Samara District Hospital provides medical care to the population. It includes a 38-bed 24-hour inpatient department, a 14-bed day hospital, six feldsher-midwife stations, and 14 medical stations. More than 10,000 residents of the district are assigned to this medical organization.
In the first five months of 2026, 36 babies were born in the district. There is no maternal mortality. To provide emergency care to the population, the ambulance service is equipped with four specialized vehicles. All staff have been trained in the international triage system. Much attention is paid to disease prevention. Screenings for circulatory diseases, diabetes, glaucoma, and cancer continue in the district. Preventive examinations for children are also conducted.
All 20 settlements in the district have established drug supply. Four pharmacies operate in the village of Samara, while residents of other villages receive necessary medications through pharmacies. Patients with socially significant diseases are provided with free medications.
The district's healthcare system employs 27 doctors and 95 paramedical personnel. These medical workers continually improve their skills to provide high-quality and timely care to residents.
A concert program prepared by artists from the district House of Culture served as a festive gift for the guests of honor. The performances brought joy to the medical workers and became a vibrant highlight of the celebration.
The event was another opportunity to express gratitude to the people in white coats for their professionalism, dedication, and concern for the health of the residents of the Samara district.
