Addis Ababa, June 22, 2026 – The Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan hosted a meeting between the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Ethiopia and Permanent Representative of the Kazakhstan to the African Union, Zhalgas Adilbaev, and the Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the State of Qatar and concurrently to Ethiopia, Ashraf Khodjaev.

During the conversation, the Parties discussed the current state and prospects for the development of bilateral and multilateral cooperation, and exchanged views on topical issues on the regional and international agenda.

In conclusion, the diplomats reaffirmed their mutual readiness to maintain working contacts to effectively advance foreign policy interests in the region.
