On June 22, 2026, a round table was held at the “Airport Oskemen” customs post of the State Revenue Department for East Kazakhstan Region with the participation of representatives of foreign economic activity.

The event addressed issues related to the classification of goods for personal use, as well as the applicable rules for the movement of goods by individuals across the customs border of the Eurasian Economic Union.

Participants were briefed on the value and weight limits for goods imported by air, land, and international postal shipments, as well as the procedure for calculating customs duties in case of exceeding these limits.

Special attention was paid to the criteria used to determine whether goods are intended for personal or commercial use, including the quantity and frequency of their importation.

At the end of the meeting, participants received detailed clarifications and answers to their questions regarding customs administration under the current legislation of the Eurasian Economic Union.
