Recently, cases of internet fraud have become more frequent. Fraudsters may impersonate employees of banks, law enforcement agencies, government institutions, telecommunications operators, and other organizations.

To protect yourself from fraudulent activities, it is recommended to:

  • Never share your Individual Identification Number (IIN), bank card details, CVV codes, or SMS verification codes with third parties;
  • Do not follow suspicious links or install applications at the request of unknown individuals;
  • Do not transfer money based on instructions from persons claiming to represent government agencies or banks;
  • Do not provide your bank cards or bank accounts to third parties;
  • Verify information through official sources;
  • Remember that employees of government agencies and financial institutions do not request personal data, passwords, or verification codes over the phone.

If you receive a suspicious phone call, immediately end the conversation and contact law enforcement authorities or your servicing bank directly.
