During a working visit, the condition of the city's street lighting system and architectural illumination of buildings was inspected.

Since 2023, Kostanay has been implementing a phased modernization program for its outdoor lighting infrastructure. A total of 4.5 billion tenge has been allocated for this purpose.

While in 2023 only 274 streets, or 65% of the city's streets, were illuminated, today this figure has increased to 402 streets, reaching 95% coverage.

By the end of 2026, the number of lighting fixtures in the city is expected to reach 19,623. Of these, 68% will be modern energy-efficient dimmable lamps capable of automatically adjusting brightness according to the time of day, weather conditions, and traffic intensity.

At the same time, efforts to expand architectural lighting are ongoing. Currently, 188 apartment buildings and commercial facilities are equipped with architectural illumination, enhancing the city's appearance and creating a more attractive nighttime environment.

The development of urban infrastructure remains a priority. The goal is to make Kostanay a comfortable, safe, and modern city for its residents.
