The Akim of Karmakshy District, Zhandos Yerkinbek, held another meeting with the residents of Toretam settlement, where he reported on the work carried out during the first six months of 2026 and outlined future plans.

During the meeting, Toretam Settlement Akim Nurlybek Izbasaruly highlighted the socio-economic development indicators of the settlement and noted that systematic efforts to promote employment and develop entrepreneurship are continuing in the locality, which is home to more than 12,000 residents.

To support entrepreneurship, several initiatives are being implemented under the national project "Auyl Amanaty." In addition, two projects with a total value of 20.6 million tenge received support through the Kyzylorda Regional Investment Center.

A piece of good news for young people was the completion and commissioning of a modern football field on D. Baitoreyev Street, built at a cost of 37 million tenge with the support of the district akim and financed from the district budget. In addition, the "Graduates' Alley" and "Central Square" projects were developed at the initiative of local residents.

Several works have also been carried out in the field of engineering infrastructure. Special funds were allocated for the maintenance of street lighting systems, resulting in the replacement and restoration of 70 lighting units and the necessary spare parts. Furthermore, uninterrupted drinking water supply is being provided to 1,946 subscribers connected to the centralized water supply system.

Highlighting the efforts undertaken for the development of the district, Zhandos Yerkinbek listened to residents' proposals and opinions and answered their questions regarding current issues.
