The Head of State awarded Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze the Order of Dostyk (Friendship), 1st Class.

Speaking at the award ceremony, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev described Irakli Kobakhidze as a friend of our country, a visionary leader and a dedicated statesman.

“Under your strong leadership, Georgia is successfully carrying out large-scale socio-economic reforms, improving the well-being of its citizens, strengthening its international standing and enhancing its role as a key regional partner. I am confident that Georgia will continue to move forward on the path of sustainable development, reaching new heights as a strong and prosperous country,” the Head of State noted.

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev also highly praised the current level of relations between Kazakhstan and Georgia, which are bound by deep historical roots, shared cultural values, centuries-old ties of friendship and mutual understanding.

“The Kazakh people have great respect for the rich history and unique culture of the Georgian people. The Georgian community is an integral part of our multi-ethnic society and serves as a special bridge between our countries. In recent years, bilateral relations have gained new momentum: political dialogue has intensified, mutual trade has been growing steadily, and economic cooperation continues to expand across various sectors. Kazakhstan and Georgia interact effectively on the global stage, consistently supporting each other on key international issues,” the President said.

In recognition of his outstanding leadership and significant contribution to strengthening cooperation between Kazakhstan and Georgia, the Head of State solemnly presented Irakli Kobakhidze with the Order of Dostyk, 1st Class.

For his part, the Prime Minister of Georgia thanked Kassym-Jomart Tokayev for such high recognition of his work.
