Belgrade, July 2, 2026 – The Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Republic of Serbia has signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with Serbian digital technology expert Ivan Milkić. The Memorandum is aimed at enhancing bilateral cooperation in digitalization, the adoption of advanced technologies, innovation, and digital communications, as well as implementing joint initiatives of mutual interest.

During the meeting, Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Serbia Madi Atamkulov briefed Mr. Milkić on Kazakhstan's large-scale digital transformation reforms, the country's achievements in the development of e-government, the implementation of digital public services, and the practical application of artificial intelligence technologies across various sectors of the economy.

Under the Memorandum, Mr. Ivan Milkić has been appointed as the Honorary Digital Advisor to the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Republic of Serbia. In this capacity, he will provide expert support for digital transformation projects, promote innovative solutions, and contribute to strengthening professional cooperation between Kazakhstan and Serbia in the field of digital technologies.
