In the period from July 1 to July 3, 2026, within the framework of the Memorandum on Technical Cooperation between the Federal Treasury of Russia and the State Treasury Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a working visit of the Kazakh delegation to St. Petersburg (Russian Federation) took place in order to exchange experience on digitalization of public finance, modernization of treasury systems and improvement of treasury services.

The delegation included Chairman of the State Treasury Committee Rakhat Tokbaev, as well as heads of departments Bayan Sydykova and Erkebulan Musarov. During the visit, the parties discussed topical issues of the development of treasury systems, exchanged best practices in the field of digital transformation and identified further areas of bilateral cooperation.
