Information and explanatory events aimed at improving the legal literacy of convicts and persons in custody have been conducted in the institutions of the Department of the Penal Enforcement System in the West Kazakhstan region.

The events are organized within the framework of the implementation of the principle of "Law and Order", as well as in connection with the entry into force of amendments to the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, adopted at the republican referendum.

During the meetings, participants were informed about the basic constitutional rights and freedoms of man and citizen, the principles of law and order, the role of government agencies in the implementation of constitutional norms, responsibility for compliance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as the importance of the participation of every citizen in strengthening public safety and the formation of a high legal culture.

Such events contribute to raising the level of legal awareness of the special agent, the formation of respect for the Constitution and laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as contribute to the successful rehabilitation of convicts and the prevention of repeated offenses.
