Dear compatriots,

I wholeheartedly congratulate you on the wonderful occasion of National Dombra Day!

This sacred instrument is an inseparable part of our identity, a priceless treasure that elevates the spirit of the nation. Through the dombra, lofty moral ideals have been nurtured for centuries, preserving the bond between eras and generations. In essence, the dombra is the voice of the nation—resonating in both joy and trial, strengthening the spirit and unity of our people.

In its melodies, we draw inspiration and find spiritual guidance for confident progress. At a time of mounting global challenges and the erosion of traditional values, the dombra and the rich heritage of the Great Steppe it embodies must remain the unshakable foundation of Kazakh culture.

It is our national duty to introduce the international community to the majestic sounds of the Kazakh dombra. I believe the unique aphorism of the distinguished poet Qadyr Myrza Äli, “The true Kazakh is the dombra,” should serve as a guiding star in our efforts to widely promote this instrument.

It is symbolic that, on the eve of this significant day, we opened a truly historic chapter in our statehood: on July 1, the new Constitution of our country came into force. For the first time, the preservation of historical and cultural heritage and the support of national culture have been enshrined as fundamental principles of this People’s Constitution. This fully reflects the essence, aspirations, and interests of our nation, looking confidently toward the future.

I extend heartfelt gratitude to dombra players, teachers, and all those who, through word and deed, nurture this unique art in Kazakhstan and represent it with dignity abroad.

Kazakh kui and songs will continue to warm the hearts of our compatriots, inspiring us to new achievements in building a Strong and Just Kazakhstan.
