During the working trip, the mayor of the city got acquainted with the progress of projects for the construction of playgrounds and sports grounds.

The formation of modern public spaces near residential buildings is one of the key areas for the development of a comfortable urban environment. In this regard, yard infrastructure is being gradually upgraded in all districts of Kostanay.

This year, 40 new playgrounds are planned to be built in the city. Of these, 10 sites are being installed within the framework of the plan of the Department of Housing and Communal Services, another 30 are being implemented on the initiative of residents within the framework of the Budget of National Participation project. In addition, by mid-September, it is planned to install three large gaming complexes on Zhastar Boulevard, in the Kunai microdistrict and in Keruen Park.

To date, all 10 sites implemented by the Housing and communal Services department have been fully completed, that is, by 100%. Work on 30 sites within the framework of the "Budget of National Participation" project will be completed by October 15 this year.

By the end of the year, modern playgrounds will be installed in 256 out of 550 courtyards in Kostanay.

In addition, work continues on updating the existing infrastructure. This year, repairs will be carried out in 79 more yards.
