In the Alatau district of Almaty, the construction of a new Development and Creativity Center for children and youth has been completed. The modern three-story complex, covering over 10,000 square meters, will be able to host up to 1,350 children per day.
Construction of the facility began in 2025. To date, all work has been fully completed, engineering networks are connected, and the surrounding area has been landscaped. Once the center is commissioned, 70 permanent jobs will be created.
The new center will serve as one of the largest platforms for extracurricular education and leisure for children in the district. During the project's implementation, special attention was paid to creating a comfortable and functional environment for the comprehensive development of children and teenagers.
The ground floor features a 253-seat auditorium, a swimming pool, boxing and martial arts halls, as well as offices for psychologists, speech therapists, and defectologists.
The second floor is dedicated to creative pursuits: it is equipped with music and sound recording studios, choreography halls, rooms for fine arts, sculpture and pottery workshops, as well as 3D modeling classrooms.
The third floor of the center has become a full-fledged technology park. It houses robotics and electronics laboratories, aviation and ship modeling rooms, a planetarium, and spaces for studying agriculture and aquaponics.
