Chairman of the Internal State Audit Committee of the Ministry of Finance met with residents of the Abay region

A meeting of the Chairman of the Internal State Audit Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan with the public was held in the Abai region. During the meeting, the main results of the Committee's activities for the first half of 2026 were presented, as well as the priority areas of work for the upcoming period.
It was noted that due to the introduction of digital technologies, the development of a risk-oriented approach and preventive mechanisms, the efficiency of state audit has significantly increased. In the first half of 2026, 541 audit activities were conducted, covering budget funds totaling 1.8 trillion tenge. Based on the audit results, financial violations amounting to 455.7 billion tenge were identified, with the majority of violations already remedied.
Special attention was paid to improving desk control of public procurement, developing online budget monitoring and electronic audit. It was noted that the use of digital tools allows for timely identification of risks, prevention of violations, and ensuring efficient use of budget funds.
Meeting participants were also provided with information on the implementation of the unified analytical platform SMART AUDIT QAZAQSTAN, the introduction of an online budget monitoring system, as well as the use of artificial intelligence technologies, including the «Auditor qalqany AI» system, aimed at enhancing the professional competencies of state auditors.
In addition, participants were informed about the Committee's work on reviewing citizens' appeals and conducting personal receptions of the public. It was emphasized that openness, transparency, and interaction with society remain the most important principles of the Committee's activities.
At the conclusion of the meeting, it was noted that the Committee will continue its work on developing digital, analytical, and preventive state audit aimed at improving the efficiency of public resource utilization and preventing violations.
