The State Revenue Department of the Akmola Region, in conjunction with the Administrative Police Division, is conducting roadside operations across the region’s highways to curb the illegal export of petroleum products from the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in accordance with the approved "Roadmap for Strengthening Controls to Prevent the Export of Petroleum Products."

During inspections, heavy-duty vehicles are checked for the transport of fuels and lubricants without accompanying shipping documents, as well as for the presence of petroleum products in modified or concealed fuel tanks.

Drivers have been issued information leaflets explaining legal requirements and the need to avoid violating established restrictions regarding the transport and removal of petroleum products.
