An off-site training seminar on the application of tax and customs legislation was held in Ust-Kamenogorsk

On July 10, 2026, an off-site training seminar on the application of practical and methodological approaches in the enforcement of the Republic of Kazakhstan’s tax and customs legislation was held in Ust-Kamenogorsk at the Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University.


The seminar was attended by representatives of the State Revenue Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as heads and specialists from the relevant departments of the State Revenue Committee for East Kazakhstan, Pavlodar, Abai, and Ulytau regions.


The main objective of the seminar was to discuss current issues arising from the application of tax and customs legislation, exchange professional experience, and develop unified approaches to solving practical problems.


During the seminar, participants addressed issues related to the administration of tax and customs procedures, with a particular focus on improving the quality of their implementation and refining mechanisms for interacting with taxpayers and participants in foreign economic activity.


A separate session was devoted to the analysis of case law, during which participants discussed the most significant court decisions, current approaches to resolving tax and customs disputes, and issues related to the uniform application of legislation.


The topic of clarifying the provisions of the new Tax and Customs Codes of the Republic of Kazakhstan generated considerable interest.
