The athletes of the Samar region showed high results at the National Sports Games within the framework of the international festival
From July 8 to 11, the international festival "Altai - the Golden cradle of the Turkic world" was held in Katon–Karagai district, which gathered more than 50,000 spectators from different regions of Kazakhstan, as well as countries near and far abroad. The XXIV National Sports Games of the East Kazakhstan region were held as part of the festival, bringing together the strongest athletes of the region.
The honor of the Samar district was defended by the cockpit team at these competitions. In addition, the athletes of the district have achieved high results in national sports.
On the first day of the competition, Kalymbek Nurasyl became the bronze medalist of the zhamba ata competition, taking the third place.
In the kunan baiga competitions, in which more than 20 horses participated, the riders of the Samar district won prizes:
• First place — Namozov Mukhammedali (horse from the village of Kulynjon, owner — Ruslan Shairgazin);
• second place — Shairgazin Altair (horse from the village of Kulynjon, owner — Ruslan Shairgazin);
• IV place — Zamangeldi Aisultan (horse from the village of Kulynjon, owner — Serikbol Zhanuzak).
The successful performance of the athletes of the Samar region was another confirmation of the high level of development of national sports in the region, as well as excellent training of athletes and racehorses.
