During the President of Kazakhstan's working visit to Shanghai, more than 70 commercial agreements with a total value exceeding US$15 billion were signed.

As part of a roundtable attended by executives of China's leading high-tech companies, a ceremonial exchange of key commercial documents took place.

One of the landmark agreements was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Akimat of Astana, Samruk-Kazyna JSC, Freedom Holding, and Geely Auto Group to develop electric vehicle infrastructure in Kazakhstan and promote the adoption of artificial intelligence technologies in the automotive industry.

In addition:

Kazakhstan and Huawei strengthened their strategic partnership in the fields of artificial intelligence and digital development;
Samruk-Kazyna JSC and Huawei signed an agreement on the procurement of advanced technological solutions and equipment;
A number of investment agreements were concluded with the participation of the Development Bank of Kazakhstan, covering projects in industry, transport, logistics, and finance;
Manufacturing cooperation was expanded with leading automotive companies, including Li Auto, Chery Holding Group, and Geely;
New partnerships were established in the areas of data center development, robotics, artificial intelligence, scientific research, and higher education.

The agreements reached are expected to enhance Kazakhstan's investment attractiveness, support the development of high-tech industries, create new jobs, and contribute to the country's sustainable economic growth.
