A press tour for media representatives was held at Industrial Park No. 1 in Astana, where journalists visited two modern manufacturing facilities — the Tau-Ken Altyn Gold Refinery and the TAZAU Wastewater Treatment Systems Plant.

According to the organizers, the tour aimed to showcase the achievements of Kazakhstan's industrial enterprises, promote innovative technologies, and strengthen cooperation between the business community and the media.

During the visit to the Tau-Ken Altyn Gold Refinery, Technical Director Zekail Tyulyubayev presented the company's operations. Established in 2013 as part of Tau-Ken Samruk National Mining Company JSC, the refinery provides a complete gold refining cycle—from processing gold-bearing raw materials to producing investment-grade gold bars and granules that meet international quality standards.

He noted that the refinery employs 80 highly qualified specialists and is equipped with state-of-the-art production technologies. In 2025, the plant produced 56 tonnes of refined gold and 6 tonnes of refined silver.

The second stop of the tour was the TAZAU Wastewater Treatment Systems Plant, which officially opened on Astana Day. General Director Andrey Belyayev stated that the company expects to reach full production capacity by the end of the year.

The enterprise specializes in the production of modular wastewater treatment systems, including local wastewater treatment facilities, sewage treatment plants, and pumping stations. To date, the company has completed approximately 1,000 projects across Kazakhstan.

A distinctive feature of the plant is the use of polypropylene in the production of its modular treatment systems. According to the company's specialists, this material significantly outperforms conventional reinforced concrete in terms of durability and moisture resistance.
