The Abai Region branch of the State Corporation “Government for Citizens” NJSC reports that free digital literacy training sessions continue to be held at Public Service Center (PSC) No. 2 in the city of Semey. The training is organized within the framework of the Year of Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence and is aimed at improving public access to government services for every citizen.

Since March of this year, more than 100 people have completed the training, the majority of whom are senior citizens.

During the sessions, PSC specialists help participants gain a better understanding of the e-Government Portal and mobile applications used to obtain public services online, as well as learn to independently use other popular digital tools.

“Improving the digital literacy of the population is one of our key priorities. It is especially important that these classes help older people confidently use electronic public services. We strive to make digital services simple, understandable, and accessible to every resident of the region,” said Zhibek Zhadrina, Director of the Abai Region Branch of the State Corporation Government for Citizens NJSC.

Residents wishing to acquire new knowledge and practical skills in using digital services are welcome to attend the free training sessions every Wednesday and Friday from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Public Service Center No. 2, located at 22 B. Momyshuly Street, Semey.
