On July 21, 2026, Ambassador-at-Large – Head of the Representative Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Almaty Zhanibek Abdrashov presented the exequatur to the newly appointed Consul General of the United States of America in Almaty Peter Kaufman and wished success in his mission. In turn, the Consul General of USA expressed his gratitude and confirmed willingness to work for the benefit of the development of bilateral relations.
