From July 26 to 30, a delegation from the National Association of Oilseed Processors (NAOP) of Kazakhstan visited the production site of Henan Huatai Cereals and Oilseeds Machinery Co. (Huatai), located in Huaxian County, Henan Province (PRC). Huatai is one of the largest manufacturers of equipment for the oil processing industry. The visit took place within the framework of a memorandum of cooperation concluded between NAOP and Huatai.

The delegation included representatives of NAOP, nine oil processing enterprises – members of the Association, as well as leading scientific organizations of Kazakhstan: S. Seifullin Kazakh Agrotechnical Research University (KATRU) and the Kazakh Research Institute of Processing and Food Industry (KazRIPFI).

During the visit, the participants got acquainted with the enterprise's production capacities, equipment for oilseed processing, and modern technologies for their deep processing. In addition, representatives of Kazakhstani enterprises held negotiations with Huatai's management in a B2B format on the implementation of promising investment projects.

One of the key events of the visit was the II Kazakhstan-China Seminar dedicated to advanced technologies and intelligent equipment for deep processing of grain and oilseeds, which took place on July 28. The seminar was organized by Huatai jointly with the Chinese Cereals and Oils Association. The event was attended by representatives of business, the scientific community, and equipment manufacturers. Leading professors from Wuhan Polytechnic University and Henan University of Technology presented modern scientific developments and technological solutions aimed at increasing the efficiency of processing industries.

As part of the seminar, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between KazRIPFI and Huatai. The document provides for the development of scientific and technical interaction, exchange of experience, joint research, and implementation of projects to introduce new technologies in the processing industry.

According to NAOP, the holding of the second joint seminar became another stage in strengthening the partnership between Kazakhstan and China in the field of deep processing of oilseeds. Such interaction promotes the transfer of modern technologies, the development of applied science, increasing the technological level of domestic enterprises, and expanding international production cooperation.

It is worth noting that the first visit of the Kazakhstani delegation to Huatai's production site was organized by NAOP in 2025. At that time, the parties signed a memorandum of cooperation, and the current event is being implemented within the framework of the agreements reached.
