Islamabad, July 28, 2026 – Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Pakistan, H.E. Mr. Yerzhan Kistafin met with the Speaker of the National Assembly of Pakistan, Hon. Mr. Sardar Ayaz Sadiq.

During the meeting, Ambassador briefed his interlocutor on the political reforms being carried out in Kazakhstan and the comprehensive modernization of the country's political system under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, H.E. Mr. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

The Ambassador separately addressed the implementation of the documents signed and the agreements reached during the first State Visit of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, H.E. Mr. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, to Pakistan, held on 3-4 February 2026.

For his part, the Speaker highly praised the reforms being implemented in Kazakhstan, emphasizing their importance for the country's continued development and the positive momentum in Kazakhstan – Pakistan relations.

Hon. Mr. Sardar Ayaz Sadiq particularly emphasized the significance of the President of Kazakhstan's visit to Pakistan, describing it as an important milestone in the development of bilateral cooperation.

Emphasizing the importance of developing inter-parliamentary diplomacy, the Speaker stated his intention to pay an official visit to Kazakhstan at a time mutually convenient for both sides.
