From 9 to 11 April 2025, a specially formed delegation from the Mangystau Region paid a working visit to the Turkistan Region and participated in a study tour aimed at enhancing the professional competencies of rural akims (village mayors).

The main purpose of the visit was to gain an in-depth understanding of the Turkistan Region's best practices in agriculture, fisheries, and tourism, as well as to learn effective approaches and innovative solutions in these sectors.

During the study tour, the delegation visited several rural districts of the Turkistan Region, where they met with local akims and industry specialists to exchange knowledge and practical experience.

The delegation was also introduced to the region's agricultural projects, irrigated farming systems, fish farming technologies, and ongoing initiatives to develop its tourism potential.

This study tour contributed to improving the quality of local governance at the rural level and strengthened interregional cooperation through the exchange of knowledge and best practices.
