Restoration of solvency and inclusion in the register of creditors
If a citizen is faced with financial difficulties and cannot repay his debts on time, the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan provides for a procedure for restoring solvency.
What does this give the debtor?
If a citizen has a permanent income, he can go to court and propose a debt repayment plan for up to 5 years. This allows you to gradually pay off creditors and avoid bankruptcy status.
What is the register of creditors?
This is the official list of all creditors to whom the debtor owes money. It includes information about the amount of debt and the reasons for its occurrence.
Why is this important?
Only creditors whose claims are included in the register can participate in the procedure and expect to repay the debt in accordance with the procedure established by law.
What does the lender need?
To be included in the register, you must promptly declare your claims and submit documents confirming the existence of debt.
The procedures for restoring solvency and bankruptcy are aimed at balancing the interests of both debtors and creditors, as well as settling debts in a legal manner.
