Under the chairmanship of the regional akim Kumar Aksakalov, a meeting of the akimat was held, where the progress of preparations for the upcoming heating season was reviewed.

The Head of State instructed to ensure the high-quality implementation of infrastructure projects and to strengthen control over preparations for the upcoming heating season.

The past heating season passed without serious emergency situations. Compared to the 2022–2023 heating season, the number of accidents on heating networks decreased sixfold — from 830 to 134. In recent years, significant funds have been allocated for the modernization of engineering infrastructure. The number of appeals and complaints from the population decreased almost fivefold — from 96 to 20.

«This is a clear result of the preparations carried out for the heating season. We continue to invest significant funds in the development of engineering infrastructure. Thanks to this, the number of accidents on heating networks compared to the previous heating season has decreased almost twofold — from 254 to 134. All this is the result of comprehensive preparation for the heating season,» noted Kumar Aksakalov.

Reports at the meeting were presented by the head of the regional department of energy and housing and communal services, as well as the akims of the cities of Kostanay, Rudny, Arkalyk, and the Zhitikara district.

The head of the region warned that if facts of failure to obtain readiness certificates for energy facilities are recorded in cities and districts in the autumn, the respective akims will be held personally accountable.
