Riyadh, August 23, 2026 – Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Saudi Arabia Madiyar Menilbekov held a meeting with Faisal Al-Faqeer, CEO of “Saudi Basic Industries Corporation” (SABIC).

During the negotiations, the parties discussed prospects for strengthening Kazakhstan-Saudi cooperation in the petrochemical sector, as well as opportunities for implementing joint investment projects.

M.Menilbekov presented Kazakhstan’s investment opportunities and highlighted interest in attracting leading Saudi companies to participate in major industrial projects. Particular attention was paid to Kazakhstan’s potential as one of the largest economies in Central Asia and as a promising platform for developing high-value-added industries.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to explore opportunities for closer cooperation between “SABIC” and Kazakhstan’s national and private companies.

“Saudi Basic Industries Corporation” (SABIC) is one of the world’s largest chemical companies and one of Saudi Arabia’s leading industrial companies. The company specializes in the production of chemicals and petrochemicals, polymers, fertilizers, and specialty materials. “SABIC” operates internationally and has manufacturing facilities across various regions of the world.
