The officer corps of the National Guard of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan has been reinforced by six graduates of the Gendarmerie and Coast Guard Academy of the Republic of Türkiye. Having successfully completed their studies, the young officers have been assigned to Military Unit 5573 in the capital, where they will apply the knowledge and professional skills gained abroad.

Among the graduates is Senior Lieutenant Aslan Knyazbayev, who graduated from the Academy with honors. In a formal ceremony, his diploma was personally presented to him by the President of Türkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

Following the graduates’ arrival in Kazakhstan, a meeting was held with them at the Main Command of the National Guard. Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the National Guard Major General Bekaidar Kazkeyev congratulated the officers on the successful completion of their studies. He wished the young commanders success, resilience, confidence in decision-making, and a достойное continuation of their service in the ranks of the National Guard.

After completing their induction training at Military Unit 5573, the young officers will take command of platoons. They will be tasked with maintaining public order and ensuring the safety of residents and guests of the capital.

The training of Kazakh servicemen at military educational institutions in Türkiye is carried out within the framework of bilateral cooperation. Since 2014, National Guard cadets have studied at the Land Forces Institute, while since 2017, they have also received training at the Gendarmerie and Coast Guard Academy.

Over the years of cooperation, Turkish military educational institutions have trained 56 National Guard officers. The knowledge and practical experience gained by the graduates are applied in the performance of their service and operational duties, contributing to public safety and the maintenance of law and order.
