On September 1, the Day of Knowledge, in the village of Samarskoye in the Samar district, the opening of the new building of the KSU "Primary School named after Ybyray Altynsarin" for 150 places took place.
For the first time in more than 40 years, a new school building has appeared in the village. The school was built at the expense of the regional budget. It is a modern two-storey building with a total area of about 3.8 thousand square meters.
The school is located in a new neighborhood of the village, where housing construction is actively underway today. As part of the One-Story East program, 29 semi-detached houses are being built here. The new educational institution is equipped with modern classrooms, a gym, a library and a dining room. There is also a speech therapist's office, a mini-center for children and a mini-football field.
The ceremony was attended by Deputy Akim of the East Kazakhstan region Rinat Kurmanbayev, Head of the Education Department of the East Kazakhstan region Kuat Okasov, Akim of the Samar district Serik Zhenisov, head of the education department of the district Ruslana Zakiryanova, teachers, parents and students. The training will be conducted in Kazakh and Russian.
"Systematic work is underway in the East Kazakhstan region to update the educational infrastructure. The new school in the village of Samarskoye is one of the results of this work. This is not just a new building, but a place where children will gain knowledge, develop their abilities and take the first steps into a great life," said Rinat Kurmanbayev, Deputy Akim of the East Kazakhstan region.
This day was special for first-graders who crossed the threshold of a new school for the first time. A festive program was prepared for the children, and the 4th grade students presented them with gifts. In the new academic year, 172 children are enrolled in the first grade in the Samar district. 14 first-graders will attend the primary school named after Ybyray Altynsarin.
The main moment of the celebration was the grand opening of the new building and the first bell. After the ceremony, the students went to the first lesson — "The Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan: the basis for the formation of an honest citizen, an intellectual nation and a responsible society."
