Oslo, September 9, 2026 – Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Norway Adil Tursunov took part in the state funeral of King Harald V, held in Oslo.

As part of the mourning ceremonies, the Kazakh diplomat left an entry in the official book of condolences and attended the farewell ceremony for the Norwegian monarch at Oslo Cathedral.

The ceremony was attended by around a thousand guests, including members of the royal families of Norway and a number of foreign countries, heads of state and government, members of the local Storting (Parliament), representatives of the diplomatic corps and the public.

Earlier, President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev sent condolences to King Haakon VIII of Norway on the passing of his father, King Harald V.
