A new boarding school and sports complex have been opened in the village of Kulynjon, Samar district, East Kazakhstan region, in honor of the 60th anniversary of the Qulynzhon Mektebi school. As part of the anniversary events, a program to modernize the district's healthcare system was also launched.
The ceremony was attended by Akim of East Kazakhstan region Nurymbet Saktaganov, Akim of Samar district Serik Zhenisov and philanthropist Aydin Rakhimbayev.
The new boarding school creates comfortable living conditions for children who come to study from remote settlements. The sports complex will allow students to regularly engage in physical education and various sports.
Congratulating students, teachers and parents, Nurymbet Saktaganov noted that the development and modernization of rural schools are directly related to the task set by the Head of State — to ensure equal opportunities for quality education regardless of the place of residence of children.
"Parents should be sure that their children in rural areas will be able to receive high-quality education, live in safe conditions and play their favorite sport. The new boarding school and sports complex provide just such opportunities. It is important for us that rural children have a choice and space to develop their abilities. I thank Aydin Rakhimbayev for his concern for his native land and the implementation of projects that will serve the residents for many years," said the governor of the region.
The Qulynzhon Mektebi school has been uniting several generations of villagers for 60 years. The opening of new facilities was a continuation of the work on school development and support for children from the settlements of the district.
Aydin Rakhimbayev noted the importance of implementing projects aimed at the development of his native land.
"I graduated from this school and today I met with teachers whom I still remember. I want the children of the neighborhood where I was born and raised to have opportunities that we didn't have before. Our goal is not just to build infrastructure, but to create opportunities for the development of fellow countrymen — students, teachers and all residents of the district," said the philanthropist.
During the event, a program for the modernization of the healthcare system of the Samar district, designed for the next two years, was also presented.
As part of the program, it is planned to renovate the central district hospital, paramedic-obstetric and medical centers. For the first time, the purchase of a CT scanner and a reanimobile is provided for the district. It is also planned to connect medical organizations to the Starlink Internet, which will expand opportunities for online consultations with leading specialists in the country.
Aydin Rakhimbayev has allocated about $ 11 million of personal funds for the development of his native land. These funds include previously implemented projects in the field of education and a long-term program for the modernization of the healthcare system.
The launch of new social facilities is important for the residents of the area. Now rural children receive additional opportunities for education, sports and the development of their abilities, and the modernization of the healthcare system will increase the availability of necessary medical care directly in the area.
Akim of the East Kazakhstan region stressed that the development of rural schools and the creation of modern conditions for children will remain one of the priorities of the region.
