Youth in Lisakovsk Join the "Taza Kazakhstan" Initiative

An eco-quest titled "Clean Territory – Our Common Concern!" was held in Lisakovsk as part of the "Taza Kazakhstan" environmental initiative. The event took place in the 11th microdistrict and brought together about 40 young residents of the city.
The main goal of the quest was to engage youth in environmental protection issues, foster an ecological culture, and instill a responsible attitude toward the cleanliness and improvement of their hometown.
Participants divided into teams and visited themed stations where they answered questions about ecology, completed tasks on proper waste sorting, searched for environmental clues, and demonstrated their knowledge of caring for nature.
The practical part of the event was dedicated to cleaning up the area. The youth collectively collected garbage and tidied up the assigned sections. Thus, the participants not only gained new knowledge but also made a tangible contribution to the city's improvement.
"The 'Taza Kazakhstan' initiative shows that the cleanliness of the environment depends on each of us. That is why it is important for us not just to tell young people about the need to care for nature, but to create opportunities for concrete actions. Today, the participants demonstrated through their involvement that they are ready to take responsibility for the state of the environment and contribute to the development and improvement of their hometown," noted Dilda Khairat, head of the Youth Resource Center of the city of Lisakovsk.
During the quest, special attention was also paid to issues of responsible consumption and proper waste management. The game format made environmental topics more accessible and interesting for young people.
Following the event, the most active teams and participants were identified. Winners and distinguished participants received cash certificates.
Conducting such events as part of "Taza Kazakhstan" contributes not only to improving the condition of the city's territory but also to forming sustainable environmental habits among the younger generation. The main idea of the quest was that caring for the cleanliness of the city begins with the simple daily actions of every person.
