Belgrade, 11 September 2026 – Ambassador of Kazakhstan Bolat Imanbayev met with Advisor to the President of Serbia for Foreign Policy Tatjana Jović.

During the meeting, the sides discussed the progress in implementing the agreements reached following the official visit of the Head of State to Serbia (18-19 November 2024) and the visit of President of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić to Astana (26-27 February 2026).

Tatjana Jović stressed that official Belgrade will continue its consistent policy of strengthening friendly ties and fostering rapprochement between the peoples of Serbia and Kazakhstan.

The sides noted the common positions of the two countries on the international agenda and their commitment to compliance with the norms of international law, and also discussed the progress of ongoing joint projects and prospects for expanding bilateral cooperation in such areas as digitalization, AI, energy, agriculture, tourism and construction.
