A meeting dedicated to preparations for the upcoming heating season was held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov. Akim of Kyzylorda Region Murat Ergeshbayev took part in the meeting. The meeting addressed issues of readiness of energy and utility infrastructure, repair of power supply facilities and heating networks, as well as the formation of fuel reserves.
In the region, preparations for the heating period are being carried out in accordance with the approved action plan. This year, 5.5 billion tenge has been allocated for the modernization of heat supply facilities. With these funds, 8.7 km of heating networks have been modernized, a major overhaul of one gas turbine unit has been carried out, and repairs of 1.3 km of heating networks, one boiler house, one turbine, 10 autonomous boiler houses, and main and auxiliary equipment have been fully completed. Hydraulic tests are currently underway.
In addition, during the upcoming heating season, residents of the region will be provided with heat from four boilers of the new combined heat and power plant.
460 km of electrical networks and 134 substations have been repaired for 7.6 billion tenge.
All 1,074 social facilities in the region are 100% ready for the heating season. Readiness certificates for energy and social facilities are currently being issued.
The required coal reserve amounts to 80 thousand tons, including 68 thousand tons for the population and 12 thousand tons for social facilities. Regional operators are forming coal reserves in accordance with the approved schedule.
