A large-scale clean-up day was held in the Samar region as part of the environmental campaign "Taza Kazakhstan", dedicated to the World Cleanliness Day.

All rural districts of the district joined the cleaning of streets and public areas. In total, about 600 people took part in the environmental action — civil servants, managers and collectives of organizations and enterprises, as well as residents of villages.

During the clean-up, the participants cleared the territories of household garbage and put public spaces in order. Special attention was paid to landscaping: 800 seedlings of coniferous trees were planted in the area.

As a result of the environmental campaign, about 10.5 tons of garbage were collected.

Such events contribute not only to the improvement of settlements, but also to the formation of a responsible attitude towards the environment.
