During a working visit, Astana Deputy Akim Glotov Yevgeniy reviewed the progress of investment projects in the capital’s digital infrastructure, industrial, logistics and education sectors.

He visited a data centre under construction that is designed to meet TIER IV reliability standards. It is the first commercial project of this level in Eurasia. The complex will have a total power capacity of up to 100 MW, with the first phase scheduled to become operational in 2027.

Glotov Yevgeniy also reviewed construction progress at an agro-industrial complex for the advanced processing of grain and legume crops. The project is expected to attract USD 320 million in investment and create approximately 400 new jobs once the complex becomes operational.

In addition, the Deputy Akim visited the construction site of the country’s largest logistics park, which will cover approximately 160,000 square metres. The project is expected to become an important part of the capital’s modern transport and logistics infrastructure.

Work is also continuing in the field of international education. Glotov Yevgeniy reviewed preparations for the opening of the new ICS Astana and SABIS International School-Astana campuses. In the first phase, the schools will provide an additional 2,000 student places, with the potential to increase capacity in the future.
