Today, a regular meeting was held under the chairmanship of District Akim Zhandos Yerkinbek. Along with the issues raised at the meeting chaired by the regional akim, the meeting addressed a number of important issues related to the district’s socio-economic development and budget execution.

The first item on the agenda was ensuring road traffic and pedestrian safety. In this regard, the district police department reported on the work carried out to prevent road traffic accidents, and the situation in the district was analyzed.

Overall, this year has seen a decrease in the number of accidents and the number of people injured compared with the same period last year. In this regard, Zhandos Yerkinbek said:

“Road safety is an issue that must always remain on the agenda. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen preventive measures and increase control over compliance with traffic rules.”

He emphasized that this area, which is directly related to people’s safety and lives, must not be weakened. The district police department was also instructed to strengthen raid and inspection activities.

The next issue on the agenda was the implementation of the district’s macroeconomic indicators and budget execution. Zhanar Nimatulla, Head of the District Department of Economy and Finance, reported on the progress of work in this area and the utilization of budget funds. In addition, the fulfillment of own-revenue plans by several rural districts was discussed. In this regard, the akims of the settlements were instructed to ensure full fulfillment of their own-revenue plans based on the results of nine months.

The meeting also paid particular attention to the efficient and full utilization of budget funds. The district akim emphasized that the timely and high-quality utilization of budget funds is an important responsibility and stressed the need to ensure the efficient use of every allocated amount. Accordingly, relevant instructions were given to the akims of the settlement and rural districts, with an emphasis on maintaining strict control over their proper implementation.

The issue of providing residents with solid fuel was also considered. Relevant work is underway in the district to prepare for the heating season, meet residents’ demand for solid fuel, and build up fuel reserves. Responsible officials were instructed to ensure that no problems arise in these areas and to maintain constant monitoring.

Following the meeting, the responsible departments were instructed to ensure systematic work on all issues discussed and timely implementation of the assigned tasks.
