On September 24, 2026, the head of the department "Customs Post-Petropavlovsk Customs Clearance Center" Turalin S.M. held a round table for participants in foreign economic activity on the correctness of filling out column 31 of the Declaration for goods.
During the meeting, special attention was paid to the detailed description of the goods, including information about the manufacturer, technical characteristics and quantitative composition. The participants were instructed on the rules for specifying information about cargo items, packaging, and container numbers. The requirements for labeling excisable goods and the use of identification tools (control marks and codes) are considered separately. The nuances of declaring goods subject to traceability were also analyzed.
The purpose of the event was to reduce the number of errors when submitting personal data and speed up the customs clearance process. At the end of the meeting, the participants received answers to topical questions on the application of the EAEU HS classifiers.
