In accordance with the order of the Ridder mayor, monitoring groups have been established to conduct raids to ensure compliance with the established trade markup.
This work is aimed at ensuring access to socially important food products for the population and preventing unjustified price increases.
Since the beginning of 2026, 25 visits to retail outlets have been conducted.
During the monitoring, the level of the trade markup, the presence and compliance of price tags, and the validity of established prices are checked.
Thirteen reports regarding possible exceeding of the established 15% trade markup have been submitted to the East Kazakhstan Region Department of Trade.
As a result of this work, 10 individual entrepreneurs were held administratively liable, including:
* 4 entrepreneurs – under Part 4 of Article 193 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
* 6 entrepreneurs – under Part 1 of Article 204-4 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
