From 28 September to 2 October 2026, Astana is hosting a training on intellectual property for diplomats, aimed at enhancing knowledge and practical skills in the field of intellectual property and international cooperation.

The training is jointly organized by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), the Committee of Intellectual Property Rights of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the World Trade Organization and other international economic organizations, and the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Kazakh diplomats and representatives of government bodies are participating in the event.

The training contributes to strengthening cooperation between Kazakhstan, WIPO and the diplomatic community, as well as developing a practical understanding of the role of intellectual property in international economic and trade relations.
