Today, the presentation of the film "Ustaz" directed by Yerlan Oshakbayev was held for teachers, veterans and education workers of the capital with the support of the Ministries of Education, Culture and Information, Akimat of the Zhetysu region.

The film tells about the return of a young specialist to his native village as a teacher. It reflects the importance of the role of a teacher, the desire to improve the educational and educational process, as well as the difficulties and joys that he faces on the path of his professional activity.

At the presentation, Minister of Education Gani Beisembayev noted that together with the Ministry of Culture and Information, it is planned to broadcast the film on the main TV channels of the country and distribute it among the teaching community in all regions.

"The Head of State emphasized in his speeches that teachers play an important role in our society. These words were supported by concrete steps aimed at supporting teachers and improving the quality of education. One of the first and important steps was the adoption in 2019 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On the status of a teacher", which settled issues related to reducing the burden on teachers, freeing them from unnecessary functions, as well as establishing new incentives. The main mission of this film is to show that a teacher is not just a profession, but a real vocation, a mission. I hope that it will serve as an important reason for a deep understanding of the role of a teacher in society and will become a guide for young teachers, helping them realize their responsibility and inspiring further development in the profession," the minister concluded.

The author of the idea for the film "Ustaz" is Beisen Kuranbek, the screenwriter is Gulmira Zerbai. The roles in the film were performed by actors of the Zhetysu regional Drama Theater and the poetry theater of the Palace of Schoolchildren. The film was shot in the region with the support of the Zhetysu TV channel, and in the future it will be shown on the main TV channels of the country.
