As part of the celebration of the 15th anniversary of the strategic partnership between Kazakhstan and Spain, as well as in honor of the Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the State Folklore Ensemble "Astana Sazy" of the State Academic Concert Organization "Kazakconcert" named after Rosa Baglanova presented Kazakh culture at one of the best concert venues in Madrid.
The Astana Sazy Ensemble is one of the leading creative collectives of Kazakhstan, making a significant contribution to the development and popularization of Kazakh folk art. The musicians introduce listeners to the unique sounds of traditional Kazakh instruments such as dombra, kobyz, sherter, shankobyz, saz syrnai, sybyzgy, asatayak, dauylpaz, tuyaktas, konyrau and others. The artistic director of the ensemble is Nurken Yakiyaev.
At the concert in Madrid, the ensemble performed masterpieces of Kazakh traditional music and popular works from its repertoire. This evening was not only a significant event in the cultural life of the city, but also an important step towards strengthening cultural ties between Kazakhstan and Spain.
