Issues of interaction between government agencies and non-governmental organizations were discussed at a meeting of the Coordinating Council

A meeting of the Coordinating Council was held in Astana, which was attended by deputies of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Vice Minister of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan Aizada Kurmanova, as well as heads of central state and local executive bodies, representatives of non-governmental organizations.
Issues of support for civic initiatives in the cities of Astana and Almaty were discussed on the agenda. For the first time, alternative reports from NGO leaders were heard, which was an important step in increasing transparency and efficiency of interaction.
The Akimat of Astana city proposed to organize a press tour for the members of the Coordinating Council in order to familiarize themselves with the implemented projects within the framework of the state social order. The members of the Council noted the positive experience of the Akimat of Almaty in the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals, recommending the implementation of this experience in other regions of the country.
Following the results of the meeting of the Coordinating Council, recommendations were developed on the issues of public control over the implementation of social projects, as well as their orientation to the needs of the population.
