The gala opera "Dedication to Giacomo Puccini" was presented on the stage of the Astana Opera Theater.
Maestro Giuseppe Acquaviva shone at the conductor's desk all evening.
The concert was dedicated to the centenary of the famous composer's death.
The audience enjoyed the rare works of Puccini performed by the leading soloists.
Among the participants were famous opera singers Maria Mudryak, Marina Medici and Raffaele Abete, as well as stars of the Kazakh stage, artists of the choir and musicians of the symphony orchestra of the theater.
The program featured arias, duets and scenes from rarely performed works by Puccini, which allowed both artists and viewers to rediscover his musical legacy.
In addition to the musical program, the audience was waiting for a unique exhibition "One hundred years of heritage, craftsmanship and Italian passion", which unfolded in the foyer of the theater.
