A career guidance meeting with school students was held in Taldykorgan
A meeting was held at Zhetysu University named after I.Zhansugurov with Advisor to the Minister of Science and Higher Education Ruslan Yemelbaev, as well as career guidance specialist Aidos Zhumanazar. The event was attended by students and their parents from secondary schools in Taldykorgan.
Advisor to the Minister Ruslan Yemelbayev and analyst Aidos Zhumanazar shared their experiences with them and gave advice on higher education and vocational guidance.
"Choosing a profession is one of the most important steps in life. The goal of admission to the university is not just to win a grant, but to choose the right specialty. It is important to give our children the opportunity to choose a profession, assessing their inclinations and abilities," said the adviser to the Minister.
Analyst Aidos Zhumanazar, in turn, provided graduates with important information about the Unified National Testing, admission to universities, choice of profession and educational grants.
Rector of Zhetysu University named after I.Zhansugurov Ermek Buribayev thanked the guests on behalf of graduates and parents of Taldykorgan. "At this meeting, parents and school graduates were able to get advice from professionals and learn about the specifics of choosing a profession," he said.
At the end of the meeting, the parents asked questions about the choice of professions, types of educational grants, minimum scores set by universities, quotas and application procedures, receiving comprehensive answers.
This event was organized by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Akimat of Zhetisu region, Zhetysu University named after I.Zhansugurov and the Department of Education of the region.
