By decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, lifeguard Hali Khairat was posthumously awarded the Yerligi Ushin medal. On behalf of the Head of State, the award was presented to the relatives of the deceased firefighter by Akim of the Karaganda region Ermaganbet Bulekpayev.
– Today we are going to honor the memory of a hero who gave his life in the name of saving other people. We will not forget his deed," Ermaganbet Bulekpayev said.
Colleagues of the rescue firefighter attended the presentation of the state award. This will be an example of dedication to their service.
– We thank the President of the country for the award of our hero. Khali Khairat has shown his dedication to the profession over the ten years of his service, and he has saved many lives. He will forever remain in our memory," said Margulan Amanbayev, head of the Emergency Department of the Karaganda region.
