The changes became possible due to the transfer of a number of functions in the field of registration and verification of metering devices to the information system of technical regulation.
Due to the transfer to a digital platform, in particular, the registration of certificates of verifiable measuring instruments, as well as notices of their unsuitability, has been significantly optimized and facilitated. From the moment the data is received in the information system of technical regulation, this data will be recorded automatically, which eliminates the need to submit reports to the State Scientific Metrological Center on paper.
In addition, the accounting of data on the verification of measuring instruments has been switched to automated mode in the information system of technical regulation, which greatly simplifies access to data for both verification laboratories and owners of measuring instruments.
A new form of the certificate of verification of measuring instruments has also been approved, which is available in electronic form in the information system of technical regulation, which greatly simplifies the process of filling in the initial data. The certificates will contain information about the verification stamp and a QR code that is automatically generated by the information system.
These changes are legislatively fixed by introducing amendments by the Ministry of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan in 3 normative legal acts in the field of ensuring the uniformity of measurements:
- "On approval of the Rules for electronic accounting of data on verifiable measuring instruments and their transfer to the State Scientific Metrological Center",
- "On approval of the Rules for the manufacture, storage and application of verification stamps";
- "On approval of the Rules for verification of measuring instruments, establishment of the frequency of verification of measuring instruments and the form of the certificate of verification of measuring instruments."
The changes are aimed at automating, optimizing and accelerating the processes of verification of measuring instruments in verification laboratories, improving the quality and transparency of the processes of verification and accounting of measuring instruments.
