Akim of Ulytau region Dastan Ryspekov held a meeting with foreign investors — the Canadian company Maritime House, the Chilean company Molymet and the Kazakh company Zhezkazganredmet.
During the negotiations, the governor of the region offered opportunities for the development of mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of processing and use of rare metals. The head of the region also noted his readiness to provide assistance in terms of state support.
Molymet company specializes in the processing of molybdenum and rhenium, it is known for its technology of processing rare metals.
The Chilean and Canadian sides were attended by Molymet CEO Edgar Pape and Maritime House CEO Peir James, who expressed their willingness to consider the potential for cooperation and discuss possible investments in Kazakhstan.
